  In this observational study, we aim to identify the determinants of the acceptance of the shingles vaccination in people who were eligible for the NHS shingles vaccination programme in the UK, by comparing questionnaires completed by vaccinated patients with unvaccinated patients. This study will involve approximately 500 patients eligible for the NHS shingles vaccination programme and up to 60 general practices from the Clinical Practice Research Datalink Database (CPRD) in the UK.
