Research summary
The aim of the study is to examine the connection between gender disadvantage in modern society and the experience of women who have been diagnosed with borderline personality disorder and access NHS mental health services.
The objective of the study is to create new knowledge in this area which can then be applied to influence and inform future NHS policy thus improving the quality of care and experience for women and reducing any identified inequality.
The study will be a qualitative study using a feminist narrative inquiry approach.REC name
