Research summary
A pilot research study to evaluate engagement of post hospitalised ITU/HDU COVID-19 patients with long COVID-19 symptoms with WELLMOJO wellness application. The main objective of the present study is to assess the level of engagement of long COVID-19 sufferers with WELLMOJO (wellness application). WELLMOJO will assist discharged patients as a way to support them during the rehabilitation period. Distinctive parameters will be assessed during the study period that involve:
o Do post COVID-19 patients engage with wellness applications to improve their mental and physical wellbeing?
o What are they focusing on (physical activity, nutrition, meditation)?
o How often are they logging in and what are the periods of no engagement?
A baseline will be delivered at the beginning related to participants’ perceived physical activity, mental health and dieting behavior prior to using WELLMOJO. The ultimate goal is to engage users on a daily basis thus helping them adopt a healthier lifestyle that will improve their overall QoL during rehabilitation. The cohort will include participants (males and females) hospitalised due to COVID-19, admitted to ITU/ HDU and discharged 3+months prior to the present study .REC name
