Research summary
This is a prospective observational study using a combination of subjective and objective assessments of questionnaires and wrist actigraphy respectively to evaluate the impact that hormonal therapy has on the quality of life for men receiving treatment for prostate cancer. The aim of this study is to assess the prevalence of sleep disturbance and vasomotor symptoms associated with hormonal therapy such as sweats hot flushes and fatigue, with a view to identifying any predictive factors.
