  We propose to conduct a study looking to compare the effects of vildagliptin and sulphonylurea on hypoglycemic range, glycaemic variability and oxidative Stress over 12 weeks in 36 South Asian patients with Type 2 Diabetes and 30 Caucasians with Type 2 diabetes at baseline only.
