  • Research summary

Ovarian cancer is the most lethal gynaecological disease, with a highly varying prognosis, depending on its type and extent. Computer tomography (CT) of the pelvis and the abdomen, with additional imaging of the thorax, is the currently used standard for the diagnosis and evaluation of disease spread.

In this study, we plan to refine a previously discovered, imaging-based type of classification signature, called Radiomic Prognostic Vector (RPV), which could be used to help predict how tumour composition affect the outcome of the patient.
