  • Research summary

The purpose of this study is to provide deliverables to be generated during the fit-for-purpose verification of the Cayman Leukotriene E4 (LTE4) and Prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) assays using anonymized random urine.
LTE4 assay is provided fully validated by Cayman Chemical (Ann Arbor, Michigan; cat#501060). PGE2 assay is provided fully validated by the R&D system (Bio-Techne, Abingdon, UK). The aim of this verification is to ensure the kits perform as per manufacturers’ claims and in line with the Bioanalytical Facility quality policy.
These will include Kit performance, spiked recovery, linearity of dilution, reproduciblility and stability
