Research summary
The roll out of SARS-CoV-2 vaccines is welcomed. As a significant number of people have previously been infected with SARS-CoV-2, we are keen to explore whether this may impact the side effect profile of vaccination. If people who had had previous COVID infection do have more side effects at vaccination then this would be good to inform people about. It also may need to more research to investigate why this may happen.
People (staff and/or patients) who have received two vaccinations will complete an online questionnaire about which vaccine they received, vaccine side effects and COVID history. The results will be linked to their hospital records to explore co-morbidity and SARS-COV-2 test results. Currently the study will take place at Guy's & St. Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust only.REC name
