Research summary
This is a multicenter, international study of critically ill patients admitted to the ICU, diagnosed with COVID-19. We will collect data to describe the patients with this new condition on a specific day across the multiple sites and study their outcomes 30 days later.\n\nThe main objective of the study is to understand the the burden of C19 admissions to ICUs worldwide including regional differences, and variability in treatment. \n\nThe secondary objectives are:\n•\tTo describe respiratory characteristics\n•\tTo describe co- and super-infections with other microorganisms\n•\tTo describe abnormal blood clotting events and emboli and the use of anti coagulant therapies\n•\tTo describe frequency and timing of tracheostomy \n•\tTo describe mobilization in critically ill patients with COVID-19\n
