Research summary
The purpose of the research is to explore experiences of shame by clients who are currently engaging in a 6-month Mental Health Treatment Requirement (MHTR) order. Interviews will be conducted with individuals engaging with a MHTR, looking at their experiences of shame and how this relates to their MHTR and wellbeing. The study will be qualitative in design and will use interpretative phenological analysis (IPA) to analyse the results.
