Research summary
Patients with cancer are at increased risk of blood clots. The treatment for blood clots is blood thinners, however patients with cancer are also at risk of bleeding. We do not know why blood clots develop in patients with cancer.
We are setting up an observational study to try to better understand why blood clots happen in cancer patients and who is at risk.
