  This study aims to recruit 20 fibromyalgia patients who experience a high pain intensity and 10 healthy participants who will appropriately matched for age, sex and body mass index (BMI) to provide blood samples for the investigation of biomarkers (proteins) associated with fibromyalgia.
  Participants will be contacted by phone and if confirmed as eligible to take part in the trial, will then be required to attend the clinical trial site for one day for their blood samples to be taken.
