Research summary
To understand the experiences of adolescents transitioning from pediatric eating disorder services to adult eating disorder services. I will be inviting up to 10 service users with an eating disorder who are in the process of, or planned to be transitioning from paediatric eating disorder services in the Trust. They will be invited to take part in interviews lasting 30 to 60 minutes at a time of their choosing using Microsoft Teams or a similar video conferencing system. The interviews will be in depth, semi structured interviews asking them about their experiences of transitioning between services. The interviews will be immediately transcribed and thematic analysis will then be conducted, using the Nvivo computer program.
