Research summary
This study aims to examine how a novel 3D ECG-like device can be used in different primary care settings within the NHS CVD Prevent pathway. Three settings have been selected within the Black Country ICS, being GP/PCN, outreach pharmacy & community pharmacy. Participants fitting ‘at-risk’ criteria / QRisk3 score will be selected and randomised. GPs & pharmacists will recruit from patient records/prescribing data respectively. The outreach pharmacy will select patients from communities who do not routinely engage with the NHS. All test results/medical history will be referred to the CI via their GPs or directly, if not registered. The CI will follow-up in clinics or notify the GP if no further action is needed.
