Research summary
There is little evidence highlighting the impact of the social, personal and psychological challenges faced by Child and Adolescent Mental Health Professionals (CAMHS) working with high risk vulnerable children. Issues surrounding high stress levels, and burnout are well documented.
The focus of this study is to explore the personal experiences of this group, highlighting coping strategies and stressors related to their role. These findings will help identify mechanisms through which support can be offered.REC name
