Research summary
The main aim of the study is to evaluate the psychological impact of adverse drug reactions, in adult patients with Cystic Fibrosis (CF). The study will examine the incidence of anxiety and trauma symptoms as a result of such experiences and whether these symptoms impact on feelings about future treatment. Participants will be asked to complete a brief questionnaire, comprising of questions regarding their experiences of adverse drug reactions, anxiety, trauma and feelings regarding future treatment. The questionnaire will take approximately 15 minutes to complete and will be sent to patients by post to complete or will be completed when patients attend the Manchester Adult Cystic Fibrosis Centre (MACFC) as an outpatient or inpatient.
