• Research summary

  The purpose of this study is to retrospectively review 17 consecutive cases of simple elbow dislocations treated in our institution according to normal treatment protocols. These patients have undergone elbow MRI scans. We aim to gather from medical records patient age, gender, handedness, medical comorbidies and mechanism of trauma. Two independent radiologist will then review the MRI scans separately to assess the extent and pattern of soft tissue injury with regards to primary to trauma. We then compare the soft tissue trauma pattern to published literature.
