• Research summary

  The application of CKD-EPI eGFR equation in laboratory which was using 4-variable MDRD Study equation for the estimation of the GFR based on creatinine filtration marker in order to harmonize with the latest NICE guidelines. For the purpose of this study data sets with information regarding the eGFR such as, Creatinine values, sex, ethnicity, age and microalbumin/creatinine ratio will be pooled out of the Biochemistry Department of Whittington`s Health IT system. The Study will take place within the deparment`s perimeter and only trained staff of the Biochemistry Department will have access to the study.
