    Many researchers who have looked into Stress, burnout, general health and post-traumatic stress disorder regarding NHS staff have focused on employees such as nurses, doctors, midwives and occupational therapists. However, there is limited research on how job demands have an effect on these health symptoms for porters. Therefore, this research focuses on the occupation of hospital Porters and how the psych-social working environment has an effect on their health (general health, stress, burnout and Symptoms of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). The study will recruit Hospital Porters to complete a questionnaire, this will be done outside of their working hours in an allocated place within their hospital. The questionnaire will be analysed using an Exploratory Factor analysis.
