  This study aims to assess whether it is possible and useful to measure transtibial amputation stump quality using indicators of stump quality identified in the literature. It will seek to investigate the feasibility and reliability of measuring objective measures of stump quality. In addition to this the usefulness of subjective indicators will also be analysed alongside an investigation of the language and descriptions commonly used in clinical practice to assess these subjective indicators of stump quality.
