Research summary
Psychosocial safety climate (PSC) is defined as “A specific organisational climate for the psychological health of workers”, (Dollard et al., 2012).
This study seeks to assess the PSC for staff in an NHS Trust and examine whether perceptions of PSC differ according to management responsibility as well as identifying any associations with PSC and staff stress levels.
An electronic survey utilising validated measures will be sent to over 2000 NHS staff to assess psychosocial safety and self-reported staff stress.
