Research summary
The purpose of this study is to explore health and social care professional's experiences of working in an early intervention in psychosis (EIP) service. Staff who are currently working (and have been for at least 12 months) in an EIP service will be invited to take part in a one-off interview with the researcher. The interview will be conducted remotely online via Microsoft Teams. If local/national guidance permits, then face-to-face interviews will be considered and agreed as an alternative. The meeting will be conducted privately to ensure confidentiality and autonomy. The length of the interview will vary, but is anticipated to take up to an hour. Before the interview commences, participants will have the opportunity to ask questions about the research and the process. They will also be provided with a participant information sheet and consent form. Informed consent must be obtained in order to take part in the research. All interviews will be audio/video recorded and transcribed for analysis. Transcripts will be anonymised and saved securely on a password protected work laptop. Audio/video recordings will be permanently deleted after transcription.
