  Using an oral history interview approach, this research will explore the experiences of mental health service users who have later become involved in the organisation and delivery of those services as 'experts by experience'. The research will specifically look at service users' perceptions of the power dynamics within their relationships with clinical and managerial staff in these service improvement settings.
