Research summary
A significant number of patients (100000 per year) are admitted to hospital for Acute Heart Failure (AHF) in the UK. Accelerated by the COVID pandemic, some hospitals are now developing out-patient based services for the management of AHF. This project will collect data from a number of hospitals to better understand short term patient outcomes i.e. 60 days post requirement for diuretic treatment and will include consecutive patients admitted from the 1st August 2019 up to and including the 31st January 2021.
