  • Data collection arrangements

Biochemical data for patients with recurrent kidney stone formation has already been collected over a 20 year period in a database stored on 2 secure computers. We are aiming to extend this study period by 10 years by accessing confidential patient records, extracting the appropriate data and then anonymising the database.

  • Research programme

Stones research combining urologic, biochemical and renal aspects. I.E cost of surgical treatment, biochemical profiles of patients with >2 recurrences vs. 2 only, risk of developing intrinsic kidney disease.
