This study aims to provide critical insights into the experiences and challenges faced by head and neck cancer patients, leading to improved personalized care and better post-treatment support.

    This research investigates the quality of life outcomes in patients who have undergone Major Head and Neck ablative and reconstructive surgery. The study covers a broad spectrum of aspects including physical and functional elements, as well as psychosocial and emotional dimensions, contributing to a comprehensive understanding of the patient's well-being.

    Eligible participants for this study are head and neck cancer patients who have undergone Major Head and Neck ablative and reconstructive surgery, are aged 18 years and above, and represent all genders.

    The study will be conducted in a single center in the United Kingdom, ensuring a focused and uniform data collection environment.

    The study will have a cross-sectional design. Participants will be assessed through a structured questionnaire encompassing twelve Multi-item scales and seven Single-item measures related to their quality of life. Demographic and clinical information will be collected as potential confounding factors. The study will be conducted over an estimated period of six months, which includes data collection, analysis, and research dissertation write-up.

    This research is crucial in improving patient care and outcomes in head and neck cancer, offering a broader perspective on the impact of surgeries on patients' lives and well-being.
