Research summary
I plan to use an iphone app (iphysiometer) where adult patients who have presented to the emergency department put their finger over the camera flash and it picks up their heart rate.
At the same time I will record their pulse from their radial artery at their wrist. I want to use this in patients who are not clinically unstable, ie their blood pressure is normal and they are not requiring immediate medical intervention.
The patients clinical care will be unaffected and this measurement will be an extra reading to their normal recorded physical observations.REC name
