Research summary
The aim of this research is to explore psychological well-being within a Welsh speaking population of parents of children with a learning disability. Specifically, we will explore the use of a variety of social and professional supports by parents and the associations with their well-being (positive and negative). We also aim to explore whether parental well-being is associated with the extent of children’s behaviour problems as has been found in several other cultures.
