Research summary
Patients with carcinoid syndrome may suffer from psychological symptoms such as aggression, confusion, irritation, anxiety and depression. This study is looking at whether they have these symptoms and how they are experienced.
In this study, up to 10 participants with carcinoid syndrome with experience of psychological symptoms will be interviewed from 2 hospital sites. Participants will be asked about their past and present psychological symptoms. The words and phrases from interviews are analysed and then the main issues are organised and compared in a framework.REC name
