  • Research summary

When prescribing new prosthetics it is not always easy to understand how a patient will get on with their new limb. This study is about how patients change their walking with a new limb and finding ways to better measure this.

Instrumented movement analysis is a way of measuring walking very accurately, this study will look at how it can be used to evaluate a patient's confidence on their new limb.
