Research summary
In this study, the aim is to compare the thickness of the back of the eye between professional rugby players of various levels of experience and non-contact sport playing control participants. The aim is to assess the initial feasibility of this method as a way of screening for long term risk of neurodegeneration following repeated concussions or head injuries sustained playing rugby.
