Research summary
The project seeks to determine the value, if any, of applying established and emerging additive manufacturing technology (3D printing) to forensic pathology casework.
This will involve initial technical experiments to determine optimum practical techniques, followed by varied simulated and actual case examples in order to assess the feasibility, acceptability and utility for use of this technology in day-to-day forensic pathology.
