• Research summary

  This is a feasibility study of short course endocrine therapy in postmenopausal ER positive breast cancer patients with the potential addition of a second targeted therapy preoperatively. It will determine whether patients will accept an additional core biopsy in the pre surgery setting and whether the results of molecular markers can be reported in the short preoperative window to determine targeted therapy. It will prospectively recruit 20 patients over 9 months.
