  • Research summary

Pelvic Floor Dysfunction describes several conditions that can affect the bowel, bladder and reproductive organs. Three of the most common Pelvic Floor disorders are Chronic Constipation, Faecal Incontinence and Pelvic Organ Prolapse. These conditions often require input from many specialists to treat them, making treatment plans complicated and hard to remember. Fortunately, there are mobile platforms (apps) available that can break down the patient journey into manageable stages and support the treatment plans. This study aims to determine how useful and acceptable a mobile platform like this would be to patients with pelvic health conditions.
