    A study evaluating a pilot of an online structured education for adults with type 2 diabetes called "Starting Out". Haverstock Healthcare is piloting Starting Out in Camden from February 2015. We are applying for ethical apprival to evaluate the pilot programme.

    We will assess the feasbility, acceptability adn impact of Starting Out using recruitment and retention rates, questionnaire data and responses to interview questions. The evaluation will be independent of any clinical care patients receive, and will not affect their care in any way. The data will be used to improve the structured education programme and make it more widely accessible to diabetics in England.
