Research summary
Pulmonary hypertension is characterised by elevated pulmonary arterial pressure (PAP) of greater than 25mmHg at rest. This is a severe condition with increased mortality. Elevated PAP during exercise may represent an early stage of disease. This study will use retrospective and prospective data to help understand how pulmonary arterial pressure during exercise and rest relates to disease prognosis.
