Research summary
This is a feasibility study to demonstrate that Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS) of breast cancer patients can be conducted and completed in a clinically acceptable time period of 12 weeks in the setting of an NHS oncology unit.
The initial results of this feasibility study relating to the turn-around timeframes will be used to develop a full study where the outcome of the WGS will be taken into consideration when prescribing treatment to breast cancer patients.REC name
