  The focus of this research is to explore the experiences of patients who have achieved sub optimal weight loss following Laprascopic Adjustable Gastric Band (LAGB) insertion for morbid obesity. Eight to ten patients who have experienced sub optimal weight loss two to three years after LAGB will be interviewed using a semi structured approach. Data will be transcribed and the transcripts will be analyzed to identify common themes using a Grounded Theory approach.
