Research summary
This study is designed to record key events for people with ankylosing spondylitis (AS) during the period between the onset of symptoms and the establishment of a firm diagnosis. It is intended to test the hypothesis that during the interval from onset of symptoms to confirmation of diagnosis of ankylosing spondylitis, a range of events take place which are unnecessary and costly and that opportunities for the individual patient are missed.
