• Data collection arrangements

  The Northern Ireland Peritoneal Dialysis Access Database was established as audit database in 2019. Data is currently collected for all patients having a peritoneal dialysis catheter inserted by the Regional Service in Northern Ireland. The database has proved a valuable resource with regard to investigating factors affecting peritoneal dialysis use, survival and patient outcomes in this population. Ongoing data collection is now planned for research purposes.
