Research summary
The analysis of 25-hydroxy vitamin D3/D2 is an extremely high workload test in Addenbrookes hospital. The clinical monitoring of vitamin D has become hugely popular over the years, due to increased lay articles about vitamin D health benefits and the dangers of deficiency. The proposed research will investigate new method development capabilities of an in-house vitamin D analysis method on liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometer.
