Research summary
The research study is an observational study and its purpose is to observe and document how;
1. Men whose prostate cancer has reappeared after initial surgery or radiation therapy and who have high-risk disease, or
2. Men whose prostate cancer has continued to grow (progressed) after treatment with androgen deprivation therapy despite a target level of testosterone in the blood, or
3. Men who have prostate cancer that has spread to other parts of the body at the initial time of prostate cancer diagnosis,
are treated and how they are doing following their treatment.The study collects demographic information (such as age, height/weight) on participants as well as information on participants’ disease (such as when the diagnosis of prostate cancer was made, if the cancer has spread beyond the prostate), treatment, side effects of treatment and how their disease may respond to treatment. This information should help healthcare professionals better understand prostate cancer and its management and assist with planning of future research.
