Research summary
This study consists of a questionnaire (most of which can be completed by the participants) about possible long-term physical/mental health sequelae of COVID-19 and social-economic status, a physical assessment, determination of COVID-19 antibody status (for participants who have not yet been vaccinated) and C-reactive protein, and biobanking of blood and urine. Enrollment will take place across the 14 Gen-Africa participating sites and recruitment is competitive. The study will be running until December 2022.
