Research summary
This study is a 2x2 diet and exercise intervention study to explore their effects on relieving knee pain. Both the diet and exercise interventions will be carried out for a total period of 6 weeks and will include 60 participants with a diagnosis of Knee Osteoarthritis in each arm. The diet arm will use inulin fibre ( a common food supplement) and the exercise arm will involve mild-moderate exercise routines which can be performed without support/ supervision.
