    Short Title Isansys PSE vital signs monitoring pilot study.
    Study Design Pilot study, randomised, non-blinded
    Study Participants Elective post-surgery general and colorectal patients at James Cook University Hospital.
    Planned Size of Sample 70 patients
    Follow up duration From post-operative transfer to ward to discharge from hospital.
    Planned Study Period Two-months data collection. One month data collation and analysis.
    Research Aims 1. To assess the feasibility of using the Insansys PSE to monitor patients following surgery.
    2. To evaluate the acceptability of the Isansys PSE to patients and staff.
    3. To gather preliminary data to inform future study investigating the effectiveness of continuous wireless monitoring in comparison to standard practice.
