The aim of this study is to compare the effectiveness and safety of alkalinized intravesical lidocaine (local anaesthetic mixed with alkaline solution) Vs lidocaine gel (same local anaesthetic but in a gel form) in achieving adequate anaesthesia prior to injecting the bladder with Botulinum Toxin (BTX) used in treating patients with over active bladder.
