The Care Act 2014 says that agencies who are statutory members of Safeguarding Adult Boards (SAB) must work together in order to achieve the requirements of the Act in relation to the safeguarding from abuse and neglect of adults with care and support needs in the local authority area.
This study will look at the inter-agency working between the members of Norfolk SAB with a particular focus upon the collaboration between the statutory members- Norfolk County Council, the Police and Health organisations - with the aim of developing a tool to assess the effectiveness of multi-agency working in Norfolk with particular reference to the personalisation of safeguarding processes.
The study will use semi-structured interviews with a maximum of 15 members of the SAB in Norfolk to identify the key success factors for effective joint working. The study will take place between June and December 2015REC name
