Research summary
This study aims to look at the use of Flaminal (an anti-bacterial jelly like substance) in the management of perineal trauma after childbirth. This substance is readily used for burns and other wounds, but not routinely in obstetric care. The aim of this study is to gain evidence to improve patient care moving forward.
