  Atopic eczema is a common, chronic condition which can have a major effect on quality of life. It is known that skin infections and allergy to common substances such as house dust mite are important in causing disease. We want to find out whether desensitisation to this ubiquitous allergic substance (allergen immunotherapy) combined with antibiotics helps to improve disease severity and prevent further flares.
