  Our aim is to look a HER2 status on primary breast cancer and concurrent lymph nde metastases to check if the reported concordance rate is reproducible in our own data using 100 cases and “routine“ tissue sections. Currently the tumour focus in the breast (on biopsy or resection) is the preferred tissue to test HER-2 status. By assessing the HER-2 status on the concurrent lymph node metastasis, we also hope to assess if a lymph node is more suitable tissue for this test. This will be carried out on 100 consecutive case (retrospective and anonymised) with lymph node macrometastasis.
